At Leonardo Custom Cabinets, we build quality, great-sounding custom cabinets, one at a time, with you, our customer, in mind. We love the fact that we get to personally know many for whom we build our speaker cabinets. As musicians, we know what you want and need from your speaker cabinets. Our goal is simple: to build quality, light-weight, evolutionary cabinets that look and sound great.

My desire to build quality speaker cabinets came to me when I was still quite young. In 1965, at the age of 14, I found myself spending a fair amount of time hanging out at a place called BESCO Sound Room on Main Street in Jacksonville, Illinois. The company was known for its quality speaker enclosures, which could often be found at a Ringling Brother's Circus performance, or many other traveling shows. A wonderful man by the name of Wally Baptist used to let some of us young guys hang around the shop and watch as they assembled cabinets of all shapes and sizes. For me, it was a terrific learning experience. Eventually, in my father's basement workshop, I built my first bass speaker cabinet enclosure: a twin 15" infinite baffle Dual Showman, much like the original Fender design. As they say, the rest is history.
