Leonardo Open 15

Some players prefer that tight focused sound, others the open sound of a vintage combo. Leonardo's Open Back cabinets offer the open sound associated with many vintage combo amps.

Open Backs come in two flavors: 1/3 open back for that total combo sound and feel. The semi-open, 1/4 Open Back, for a tighter, more focused sound that still retains the qualities of an open back cab.

Produced with the same materials and workmanship as our closed back series, the Open Backs offer an alternative to a sealed or ported, small, light weight cab. Leonardo also let's the customer choose which speaker(s) they want in their cabinets.

The Leonardo Open 15 is a huge sounding cab, full and open with tons of headroom. Never too woofy, always just a great buttery tone. It has all the great qualities of a 2x12" cab and none of the minuses, plus it has great highs and mids that one wants from 10" speakers. The Open 15 is a great cab no matter what your need - we have tried it with solid state and tube heads with everything from hollowbody to solidbody guitars and even pedal steels, the Open 15 handled them all amazingly well. Our best all around cab.
